The evidence

The WEF 2024 report frames a potential USD1.8 trillion space economy by 2035; it is a broad scenario, not a GIS Reserve revenue forecast.

The business implication

The 2024 lens starts with paying users: plantation monitoring, maritime visibility, infrastructure inspection and connectivity. Test data resolution, revisit frequency and delivery rights against the customer problem. Commercial value comes from decisions enabled, not imagery collected.

What could change the result?

Spectrum, data rights, coverage gaps and customer procurement cycles need specialist review.
